The pandemic has hit Kyoto Journal especially hard and we have made the difficult decision to suspend printing of the magazine until 2021.
As a current print subscriber (i.e. ending with issue 98 or later), you should be in receipt of the last print issue we made, KJ97 released March 2020, as well as instructions for a complimentary download of our summer digital issue, KJ98. If you have not, please write to us.
If you are in Australia it's highly likely you haven't received KJ97 - the Japan Post ban on airmail lifted in mid-November and we are in the process of dispatching these. If you still haven't received anything by around mid-December, please contact us.
You are welcome to:
1) Wait until we resume printing;
2) Request a quantity of back issues to bring your subscription to completion;
3) Request a partial refund (please note our refund policy).
We are also planning a special book release this autumn and will offer subscribers the option of crediting part of their subscription towards a copy depending on how far along in their subscription they are.
Please send us an e-mail at support@kyotojournal.org and be as clear as possible about your request, with the name that the order was made under or the order number, when your subscription began and so on.
